Dig lah, dig some more, and use Tiong contractors to do so.

Please don't insult our intelligence and claim this happened due to climate change.

This statement below is a lie

“PUB is actually deploying additional technology radar systems to scan to make sure that we are fully aware of what the situation is (and) there are no additional casualties before we approach what the restoration works should be,” he said.

There is no technology in the world which can scan sinkholes

What a shameless lot of imbeciles!

CNA, Mothership, PUB have the cheek to publish that “The Singapore Civil Defence Force rescued the female driver, and conveyed her conscious to Raffles Hospital”, when in fact, it was the migrant workers who quickly and instinctively rescued the driver. (See video in Comments)

In fact, they did it so fast, there was not a single policeman or SCDF personnel in the vicinity - it was way before they arrived.

Kudos to these workers, who are so full of human morality and commonsense.

There is absolutely no excuse for PUB, Mothership and CNA to report the rescuers wrongly because it could have been easily verified, not to mention an information as pertinent as this.

And to add to the rot of the establishment, The Straits Times, not only did not correct the mistake, but has the cheek to write “She is pulled out with the help of workers nearby”, as if they were helping the SCDF!

And everything else in the article is damage control and propaganda about how the authorities are doing the best they can to ensure the safety and welfare of the public.

What a bloody disgrace that we need our friends in a less developed country to show us what it means to be human, while we, a fully developed nation, have the gall to claim credit for their heroism.

Don't think Tanjong Katong Road South is built on reclaimed land.

Street directory map: from left to right, 1978, 1981, 1984.

Are you surprised? Never forget what kind of country you are living in, and what kind of media you have.

Many daft Sinkies believe this is an acceptable trade-off for 'economic progress'. :roflmao:

So they get choked up with patriotic fervour during this time of the year.
