【星島日報報道】油塘一名9個月大男嬰上月19日在油翠苑漾美閣寓所內昏迷，送院搶救後不治。警方日前拘捕任職警察的男嬰父親，男子獲准保釋候查。
事發於上月19日凌晨4時左右，警方接報指男嬰躺臥牀上昏迷，救護員到場將男嬰送院搶救，但終告不治。
警方當時初步調查後，不排除男嬰睡覺時嘔奶窒息致死，但在取得一段閉路電視片段經深入調查後，顯示男嬰在死前有人涉嫌疏忽照顧，於是採取拘捕行動。

油塘油翠苑漾美閣一名9個月大男B，於上月19日凌晨被發現昏迷睡床，其任職警員的父親發現報警，惜男嬰送院搶救後不治，警方當日懷疑男嬰在睡夢中嗆奶窒息引致，但經翻查大廈的閉路電視片段調查後，以涉嫌疏忽照顧嬰兒導致死亡，將男嬰父親拘捕。消息指出，被捕父親正協助調查，暫時毋須停職。

[Sing Tao Daily reported] A 9-month-old boy in Yau Tong was comatose in the Mei Mei Court apartment in Yau Tsui Court on the 19th of last month and died after being sent to hospital for rescue. The police arrested the father of the baby boy who was serving as a police officer. The man was released on bail pending further investigation.
The incident occurred around 4 am on the 19th of last month. The police received a report that the baby boy was lying in bed and was in a coma. The ambulanceman arrived at the scene and rescued the baby boy, but he died.
After the preliminary investigation, the police did not rule out that the baby boy died of suffocation while sleeping. However, after obtaining a CCTV footage, an in-depth investigation revealed that the baby boy was suspected of negligent care before his death, so he took arrest.

The father involved in the case was assisted in the emergency room on the same day.
A 9-month-old male B from Yau Tsing Court in Yau Tong Estate was found to be in a coma bed in the early morning of the 19th of last month. His father, a police officer, found the alarm and refused to pay after the baby boy was sent to hospital. The police suspected that day. The baby boy suffocated in his sleep, but after the investigation of the closed-circuit television footage of the building, he was arrested for suspected negligent care of the baby and the father of the baby boy was arrested. According to the news, the arrested father is assisting in the investigation and is temporarily not required to suspend his duties.
