【晴報專訊】一輛停泊粉嶺路邊的雙層九巴，半夜遭偷巴士賊駛走「遊車河」，最後在8公里外的林錦公路失控，剷上行人路並連撼2車，幸未造成傷亡。偷巴士賊出事後立即逃離現場，警方正追查其下落。
被偷走的是一輛來往上水廣場至打鼓嶺的79K綫九巴。消息稱，車長前晚11時收工，先把巴士駛到上水車廠加油，再停泊在粉嶺銘賢路路邊。
至凌晨3時許，該巴士遭人從上址偷走，不久後即在8公里外的林錦公路寨乪村對開失事，先剷向行人路，掃毀4個電箱；一輛新界的士及一輛私家車亦被波及。由於撞擊力甚猛，巴士停定後左邊車頭盡毀，的士車尾也撞成廢鐵，而4個電箱則「連根拔起」，橫七豎八倒在一旁。
未幾警員接報趕到，初步證實車禍中無人受傷，惟巴士司機卻不知所終。當局經過核查，確定事件涉及偷巴士，現正調查偷巴士賊的身份和動機。
疑用「暗掣」撻車
消息指出，九巴車長在開車前必須使用個人八達通卡拍卡，才能啟動巴士，但巴士車尾引擎附近另有一個「暗掣」，可供工程人員使用。然而這方法及按掣位置，只有相關人才知曉，所以警方不排除偷車賊本身熟悉巴士情況。

[Qing Bao News] A double-decked KMB on the side of Fanling Road was sneaked away by the bus thief in the middle of the night. The Linjin Highway, which was 8 km away, was out of control, and the shovel was on the road. 2 cars, fortunately did not cause casualties.
