【星島日報報道】柴灣和筲箕灣一小時內發生兩宗的士劫案。一輛的士凌晨2時09駛經柴灣道343號滙豐銀行對開，兩名年約20歲穿深色衫男子趨前，一人到司機位旁裝作問路，問一間酒吧位置，分散司機注意力，另一人打開前座乘客門，搶走一個腰包，內里只有數元硬幣、香煙及存摺等物品，陳表示駕駛的士10多年首次遇劫。
另外，一輛的士凌晨2時54分停在筲箕灣道333號翠華餐廳對開慢線等客時，兩名樣貌及衣着相同的賊人截車，同樣以聲東擊西手法，一人在前座乘客位旁，問姓陳67歲司機一間酒吧位置，另一人打開後座門，搶去司機一個手提包，內有2500元。
56歲姓戴司機一度下車追賊，但失足跌倒擦傷右手，賊人逃去無蹤。警方接報到場，附近兜截沒有發現。戴表示駕駛的士數年，首次遇劫。
警方相信兩宗案是相同賊匪所為，兩人操純正廣東話，懷疑第一宗無收獲，於是再次犯案，現正追緝其下落。
