A BMW driver apparently knocked down a motorcyclist and his pillion rider at Boon Lay Drive and sped off, leaving the couple lying motionless on the road.

STOMPer Hakim, who was at the scene, said:

"An accident occurred at around 9.30pm at a road junction at Boon Lay Drive.

"A BMW hit a motorcycle and then the driver just sped off leaving the motorcyclist and his pillion lying on the road motionless.

"Luckily a fellow Singaporean went to chase after the car and got the licence plate number.

"People around the area came to help the couple.

"The female pillion suffered a broken leg while the man suffered a broken arm and couldn't move his hands.

"Why did the person who hit them just sped off?"

"Singaporeans, please think about it."

The reason the driver hit the motorcycle may be because he was drunk.
But the reason he sped off is because he is a coward.
