I use to work for a boss that keeps borrowing money from bank to build factories and buy equipment. He doesn't care if the factory is running at full capacity or not. Factory only 60-70% full but still buy equipment. Most equipment are top European brands. To try fill some capacity, he sometimes sold below cost. Eventually he is forced to sell company otherwise he will become bankrupt. This is big ego. He enjoys so much when the President of his suppliers visits and entertain him or when he visit them. Feel so great when he can buy so many equipment at 1 shot.

Wonder if LHL has big ego and trying to outdo his father. Trying to expand economy and demography to leave a legacy bigger than LKY ? This happens with many leaders, hope this is not the case in Singapore.
1. Hope Singapore doesn't take up too much debt to build so much that may not be needed. Hope we doesn't become another Greece.
2. Hope that our CPF money is still intact before I die. They not going to pay me 1 lump sum when I retire.

No need to talk about 6.9 Million. There are pressing infrastructure problems to be solved today and the next 3-5 years. Don't talk about 6.9 million when you can't deal with 5 million. We need more reliable public transport and they are not delivering. HK MTR system much older, move faster and more frequently, rarely hear of problems. Newer Singapore MRT system always on front page news for wrong reasosns. If these guys are having beers during happy hour, they can talk cock all they want. When addressing the public, they should be more realistic and pragmatic. They should deal with issues on the ground and not talk cock so much.

Don't underestimate the PAP. Many in the party are getting rich skimming from all this . Why do you think they can afford all those million dollar properties e.g. Ms Saw drives a Ferrari

The poor taxpayers as always will be stuck with all the bills & problems e.g. MRT breakdowns, inflation,...

the trouble with the pap bureaucracy and their sick meritocracy. heads don't seem to roll when they default. it's always the little people's head that rolls and being kicked about like football. they are fast to reward themselves but slow shoulder the blame.

who's head shall roll if all this ivory tower foresight were to be destined a total failure and cause permanent misery to the nation?
