In Singapore, the same practice has bred a bureaucracy that is insensitive to the population they served, implementing policies that are badly received and has not contributed to the overall good of society. In the long run, we will need civil servants who has a good feel for the ground, with deep implementation skills and possess the values of humility and service to community.

It was a system that needs to be changed

Would the review committee be ready to mark this “sacred cow” for slaughter? It is like uprooting themselves. It is too much to ask.

However as we deliberate and harbor our doubts, lets pray this review will change our country for good. Our future, our children’s future deserved a fair chance.

Why the fark is HSK doing this when it is the PMs job to do it? :oIo:

It is the PMs job to initiate policies together with the cabinet and as PM he has to take the responsibility for all major policies. Total farkturd!

No difference, the tune is the same except this time is puppet show to create the buzz for the sleepy audience. In the past is one man wayang show. As such, the change is called "engagement".
