Coffeeshop Chit Chat - HDB: Wat stupid reason is this?

on the 22nd of august, I borrowed my sis car.
At abt 10pm I park the vehicle at yishun Carpark and display a $4 night coupon..
The lot I park was a white color lot and opposite the stretch of lots are the ones with white n red (season parking only after 7pm)
So, clearly anyone would think Tat we can park at the white lot overnight if we display a valid coupon right?
Knn phua cb I received a summon the nxt day under rules 18(1) stating Tat I park at a lot without valid season ticket..
I went to yishun branch today morning and guess wat is their answer to me?
'the Carpark lot is for season parking only'
I asked ' why isit not painted red? Why isit white?
'u should read the sign at the entrance'
I asked ' how many motorist read the sign unless they want to find free parking? If I not educated how to read? Wat is the colored line at the lot stands for?'
She answered ' it's for specific reasons'
I asked' wat specific reasons?'
As usual, no answer and it's still for specific reasons
In the first place why waste tax payer money to pay the lots if it doesn't serve any purpose?
