Thats too unfair a statement to make. We often see the bad side of these people but I am sure there's some good too in them.

With the exception of Israel, I have yet to see any good come out of the Middle East.

Who cares! One dangerous terrorist has been eliminated and that's what counts. If a handful of others died because they happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, just put it down to bad luck and move on. Life is full of risks anyway so what's the big deal.

Danger to some salvation to others. Some people see 80% of the world as terrorists. They must really be terrified. lol

Its not a big deal because none of us or our loved ones were involved. It that had happened to any of us then it would be a big deal if unintended harm or death occured.

That's human nature. If something involves a loved one, the reaction is emotional not logical. That doesn't alter the fact that the rest of the world couldn't care two hoots.

"I am responsible for us choosing the right time to exact the heaviest price, and so be it," said Netanyahu

Interesting, no one has yet to mention that Netanyahu & the Isreali parliamentary elections are a mere 68 days away!

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has launched an international campaign to achieve recognition by the United Nations for an independent Palestinian state. Abbas and his international supporters claim that only Israel (with the United States) stands in the way of this act of historical justice, which would finally bring about peace in the Middle East.

This video debunks the Palestinians' claim and shows that Abbas has been lying about the origins and history of the conflict. Palestinian leaders have rejected partition plans that would have given them much more land for their independent state than the Jews were offered for theirs. Rather than being the innocent victims of a "dispossession" at the hands of the Israelis, the Palestinians rejected reasonable compromises and instead pursued their aim of getting rid of the only Jewish state in the world.

I am not so much interested in who is killing who. Am more interested in how the US is going to react to this series of events.

Israel is becoming less of an asset to the US in terms of maintaining the regional balance of power. In fact one could make the case that a strong Israel is no longer in the US' strategic interests.

The new foreign policy doctrine of the US is to let the battling sides fight it out and allow the balance of power to restore itself, with minimal or no intervention. I suspect this would be the case now.

Invasion Of Gaza About To Begin!

Israel Calls Up Thousands Of Reservists As Troops Amassed At Border

Israeli forces are moving toward the Gaza border, according to the Associated Press, in a prelude to a possible ground offensive.

The Israeli defence minister has approved the call-up of 30,000 reservists, Sky News has confirmed.

Sky's Middle East Correspondent Sam Kiley said: "In British terms, that is pretty close to 10 brigades - a vast number of troops. These will be armour, infantry and specialists in support, but most likely to fill in the gaps likely to be left as troops are moved down towards Gaza.

"There's already been an increase in movement of ground troops close to Gaza, the movement of tanks and so on.

"If there is going to be a ground offensive, those troops have got to come from somewhere else and they would need to be back-filled.

"So, in all likelihood, this is all part of the military planning for a ground assault into Gaza, should the Israeli prime minister so order.

"It's part of the plan, but that order has not yet been given. But this is a strong indication that Israeli troops are preparing to go into the Gaza Strip."

Things could get messy around the Golan area at the same time so its going to be a tense period for Israel. Mossad must be working overtime.
