These groups are using Palestine as an excuse. But why are they getting so much support from relatively peaceful Islamic countries and leftwing governments the world over? Because they want to see justice in the middle east. They want to see an independent Palestine. You know how many anti-Israel resolutions have been vetoed in the UN by the US? 53 since 1972.

When you give the Palestinians their rightful homeland, the whole world will come to a consensus on eliminating these jihadist groups, including the moderate Islamic countries. And we have two in ASEAN - Malaysia and Indonesia, who are not state supporters of Islamic terrorism.

The Islamic world, including the moderates, and many liberals in the West, are supporting the jihadist groups because they're seen to be representing the disadvantaged Palestinians against the West and US-armed Israel.

Give the Palestinians justice, and these Jihadist groups will have no more excuses to lay down arms. Then, and only then, would you win the moderates over to your side.
