Serious GROSS Mismanagement @ Singapore Polytechnic

The director of library is taking a one year leave to stay at home while the library operations continue to run as usual because the librarian Fang
Sin Guek does little if at all, even when she was around........... mostly ingratiating and socialing with other directors and HODs. She has part time deputy director and many part time managers who are her cronies and holy sisters. She has so much time in hand that she always accompany her head of acquisition to book stores and AV vendors to make sure that lots of hampers are sent to her home. SP has multi million dollar budget. Yearly few days before budget closure, all sort of trashes are bought only to be dumped in first week of January else there will be less money given the following year. Do we need such irresponsible splurge to spend our hard earned money???
Has SP succeeded in automating the library, if so, should not SP get rid of monstrous parasite?

From one gross mis mgmt by Mrs Teo to another...... did not even hv a degree n passed on the baton to a super apple polisher with third rate dubious degree but opted to surround herselves with masters degree holders as thought to pass that message that she is better qualified than her. She surrounds herself with holy sisters cronies incl many part time jiak leow bee managers except for a FT ah neh who knows how to play around with numbers to propel herself to the bonus level and stay there.

A useless library director whose presence is never needed nor missed at all.............. get rid of her please, SP

This woman climbed to top job at the library despite having no degreel no professional library science certification; stayed there for 10 yrs until her total incompetence showed. She managed by divide and rule plus sheer favouritism and networks of cronies / holy sisterhood of christians. Anyone who is a threat to her position is ruthless removed. Children of principal Khoo KC and BOD are given simple comfy summer vacation jobs.
To embellish herself, she hired master degree holders making others believe she is also that academically qualified.....she 2 deputy directors doing her work while she engaged herself in corporate poltics like apple polishing HR director whose uncle is Dr R Hu etc And she goes around buying aaaaaAV materials esp DVD purportedly for library students but actually for her son and daughter who were unwilling to pay for them personally. Library has Acquisition manager but why is there a need for director to do procurement?......rebate ponts in credit card payments n seasonal hampers go to her personally. Not to be sneezed at.......budget is multi million bucks and near yearends always buy like hell otherwise budget will be cut following year.. Those new purchases saturate the shelves get mercilessly cropped....datz how our taxpayers' money is spent!!!!!!!

The library will soon go the way of the dodo in tertiary institutions followed by secondary schools -as more and more books go digital as even lessons, coursework and reading materials/references have gone electronic.
In future only primary schools will be using hard copy books as kids still need to learn how to write up to Pri 6 .
