彰化地檢署查獲彰化縣第一起鄉鎮長賄選案，彰化檢警查賄又有進展，查獲一名陳姓樁腳涉嫌以紅包袋裝現金3000元，為二林鎮某鎮長候選人買票，已有5人坦承收賄，檢方認為陳姓樁腳有串證之虞，向彰化地院聲請將樁腳羈押禁見，彰化地院於1日下午開羈押庭審理後裁准，由於這起賄選案亦是彰化縣首起鄉、鎮、市長級賄選，有否更多人收賄，專案小組正持續擴大偵辦。

彰化地檢署指出，二林鎮有某鎮長候選人陳姓樁腳（70歲）以現金行賄買票，尋求投票支持該名鎮長候選人當選，涉嫌違反《公職人員選舉罷免法》，由於是縣內首起區域首長賄選，檢方格外重視，指派檢察官林裕斌指揮芳苑分局、彰化縣調查站、中機站偵辦，昨（31）日見時機成熟，由主任檢察官吳宇軒等警、調人員搜索陳姓樁腳住處，查扣現金9000元、名單、電話簿、紅包袋等證物，並傳喚陳姓樁腳及18位選民到案說明。
