南韓以強盛的美容產業而聞名，美妝公司更是打出千奇百怪的招式吸引消費者購買，而這次把腦筋動到了北韓領導人金正恩「臉上」。

南韓化妝品公司「 5149 」自 6 月以來販售一款金正恩為造型的面膜，「統一保濕核彈面膜」宣稱有保溼和抗皺的效果，更可以讓保濕效果在使用者臉上有如「核彈爆發」。如此惡搞的商品果然引起搶購風潮，雖然一片要價 4000 韓圜(約台幣 110 元)，但依然熱銷 2.5 萬份，而多數消費者都是為了趕流行而購買，認為敷上金正恩面膜可以在社交平台上獲得更多的「讚」。

除此之外這款面膜連外包裝都別有用心，一名神似金正恩的演員邊笑邊敷著白色面膜，後面則像是核彈爆炸後的蕈狀雲，並宣稱面膜成分含有白頭山的泉水，朝鮮神話傳說中，白頭山是朝鮮第一個帝國的開國君王檀君的出生地。

5149 的執行長 Kwak Hyeon-ju (音譯，郭玹珠)在接受《紐約時報》採訪中表示，推出這款面膜只是想慶祝千載難逢的兩韓峰會。

但由於民眾強烈反對，以及對面膜合法性的擔憂，加上擔心這款面膜會有「美化金正恩形象」的疑慮，許多韓國商店都已停止販售，甚至連 5149 的官網都已暫時關閉。
