Good Profit Selling Drinks

The drink stall in the foodcourt is a monopoly, and you can expect the rental to be many times that of all other supporting stalls.

The lucrative drinks stall is always kept by the owner of the food court.
That's the standard practice.

selling drinks is no lucrative.

The profits are good. That's why when a buyer wanted to buy out our coffee shop for only $10M some years ago, I told my partners that we should hold out for nothing less than $13.5M. The buyer blinked and we all walked away happy. I wonder how many cups of $1 coffees and $1.50 barleys the new owner has to sell to not only cover back his original $10M, but also my $3.5M gamble that paid off? Hee hee...

and you used that to buy a toyota corolla

I already got a nice wife. I don't need a sports car to get laid or to cover up low self-esteem. A Toyota Corolla is good enough.

The most expensive drinks I think is in sentosa.

Thanks to the rental and property development profits. The loser drink stall uncle has to sell like a billion cups of coffee to make back his money.

and what's the name of your rubber doll other than wife?

Not the sole owner lah. Don't worry. A couple of buddies and I bought one for investment years ago. We have since sold it at a handsome profit. The only drawback was that the price of food and drinks had gone up while we laughed our way to the bank.

Maybe I haven't been back more often but this morning was surprised that a regular cup of barley water costs $1.60

This is a very simple drink and easy to make so I believe should costs less than a can of cola to produce. Surely selling drinks is good money to be made.

If the coffee shop costs millions to buy, margin from drinks could barely sustain the business.

Wow...you sound very Sam. In this forum, only Sam sings Toyota to sky high.
