Why need to specify for lard? Otherwise, they'll serve it without lard and call it moslem friendly or halal?
Have you ever eaten hor-fun that actually comes with lard as standard ? If yes, tell me where.
If you need lard to add flavour to hor fun something is wrong. The Hor fun should have been fried to have wok hey and the gravy nicely floored and the seafood ingredients add the necessary unami. Nonsense like crab stick and fish cake shouldn’t been allowed.
