It's very true. PRC citizens need visas to enter almost any country - which is a hassle because other than costing money, it may not be instant visa-on-demand basis simply because China is a communist country, notwithstanding its romance with capitalism. Singaporeans on the other hand can enter most countries without a visa.

Gong Li is smart to take advantage of it to make "it more convenient for her to travel around the globe for her film projects". But it's a great sacrifice for a woman I think - afterall he is no Jet Li.

Moral of the story is that we should be proud that our Singapore passport is recognised and trusted by all countries. We all know who has made it so possible, and very thankful for it.

After all that is said and done, I supposed Ooi enjoyed the status and "fun" while it last!
