This may not be true now. The whole of Singapore is a catchment area. Hence, they have to use approved chemicals.
However, I agree that those golf clubs which have more than one 18 holes course, should give up the extra courses. I notice that most members tend to play on the better course and as a result the other is left empty.

On the contrary, golf courses use a lot of chemicals to keep out the weeds and insects. Highly pollutive.
