i thought the trend now is to take the chao phraya river ferry to Asiatique shopping centre.
If going to those markets is your thing then you can always go to the Chatuchak Weekend Market.

Hey guys, I've been living in Bangkok for 7 years now never been to Suan Lum or that Paraside ot Asiatyque before. Chatuchak or Jatujak is a day market. For my entertainment I'll choose Poseidon or Plaza so looney is right in that Poseidon can be a choice.
