As the elections draws near, he will have to make good his vain boasts and he knows he is in trouble. With 25% of the minority vote gone; with the loss of women votes over adultry and managing to turn hardcore opposition voters against him - it is no longer a question of him defeating MBT but how bad a defeat handed to his team.
