GMS has never called an election contest right. This flip-flopper is a disgrace.

Someone sounds really bitter when faced with the truth....

Good at making shit finger licking good for the maker of course.

After LTK's speech about the difficulty of opposition working together, GMS was so confident that WP will lose votes and KJ will keep his deposit.

That sucker.

There's no reason for other opposition parties to close shop yet - WP isn't yet big enough to compete in the whole of Singapore. It's a race against time - can they win a constituency before the WP expands big enough to start a MCF in their constituency?

seriously if you are opposition and you want to win a seat in parliament.

you should seriously consider go wp for an internship.

dun join the real wayang parties who keep going around doing idealistic activism works.

you ended up being an activist instead of a 'politician' trying to 'serve' the public..

Difficult to judge on KJ result due to the drama he stirred. The campaigning is only a short 9 days. No one has interests in that. Before the drama, I would expect KJ to secure about 5-7% votes. DL as expected <1%.

Knowing him, he will have it both ways. Remark about a WP win being good and remark about WP will lose. Then either way, he will have something to boast.

I also expected KJ to score higher. In the end PE residents voted tactically. KJ's 1.2% is a slur on his father's legacy.

But to even think that KJ would keep his deposit is really far out. LTK's opposition unity speech will not anger any voters, only supporters/members of other opposition parties. It was a very safe speech to make.
