I didn't say anything on her showing me her ring. I just acknowledge with my body language. But when I think back, i shld start flirting with her,mybe still got chance.

And come to the crucial factor where she asked me what is my expected, to my dismay, both she and Ops mgr looked like above their budget. The amt i stated is merely $4k.

Of course i didn't say anything abt my personal problems. I just told her the technical stuff that I did and some high flying pple I met, and some i know in the various industries. even my referees are director levels. what do you think?:o

If you are worried about morals then be a priest/monk/cleric. At the end of the day, there is nothing wrong with flirting. You just need to come across as a person they like. If the woman likes to flirt you flirt, if she doesn't there are other ways.
