New rail cracks found on the rail track !!! This begs a simple question. Is it new cracks that were caused by the derailment or they were old cracks ?
If they are new cracks caused by the derailment, I can understand. But, if they were old cracks, what does this mean ? What kind of rubbish preventive maintenance were they doing when they did not discover such cracks ?

no over-maintenance means no need to check proactively and excessively. so any hidden or potential problems are intentionally overlooked, intentionally un-detected and un-solved pre-emptively .
exactly like SAF-NS mentality. just pretend never see. But fare increases, minister salaries, year end bonuses are a different matter entirely and cannot be overlooked.
