He had slash wounds and was taken unconscious to the Singapore General Hospital where he died at 4.58 am shortly after arriving.
The remaining suspect will be released on bail pending further investigations. If convicted of murder, the seven face the death penalty. 'Such violent behaviour and blatant disregard for the law will not be condoned. We will come down hard on any individuals or groups who take the law into their own hands and see to it that they face the full brunt of the law.'

It was a pure malay only gang and their main 'business' is drug trafficking. The difference between Omega and other Malay gang are most of the member do not have tattoos and they do not accept other ethic to join the gang. In Changi prison, the 2 dominant mat gang are 369 & Omega, these 2 groups often have fights and gang crash inside the Changi prison compound and on the street. As our new Chinese generation become more educated, the Chinese gang was over ruled by the Malay gang in terms of population and brutality.
