FINANCIAL TIMES REFUSES to back down .
Our leaders always say if not true must sue, if no sue people think its true.....
Financial Times has said that it stands by its reporting on the Shane Todd case.
The comment came at the end of its article on Monday about the Singapore State Coroner's findings on what led to the death of US researcher Shane Todd.
This was in response to comments made by Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Law K Shanmugam to reporters on Monday.
The Financial Times had published an article titled "Death in Singapore" in February, which centred on Dr Todd's death.
The report quoted his parents, who believe that their son was murdered over sensitive research he had done while working for Singapore's Institute of Microelectronics.
The minister on Monday said that the article "recycled untruths", and that he hoped the paper would be "honourable" and correct the inaccuracies. - CNA/jc
