</noscript>The one-half of pop duo Twins was recently seen in a birthday bash of Mao Yuping, the wife of former Shanghai tycoon Zhou Zhengyi, with fellow singer Joey Yeung and other artistes of Emperor Entertainment Group. Gillian donned a red jacket and she seemed to be recovering well. When told that there were many people supporting her, she was very touched and pumped her fist into the air, saying "I will work hard!" She also said that she do not know when she will make a comeback, but will let her company decide the timeline.

Ever since Gillian was embroiled in the Edison sex photo scandal, Gillian had been keeping a low-profile, making only occasional appearances.
Although facing enormous stress, Gillian did not sunk into depression. On the contrary, she had been making full use of her time to improve herself by learning English and dancing, and also actively looking for audition and filming opportunities.
