He only had job offer for a sales job. Usually if he does not meet the quarterly sales target, he is out.

True, but in what way does driving a taxi/car better help to develop a long term career in HR? Wouldn't it make more sense to at least try our the recruitment sales job and see if it works and take the opportunity to learn and network in the industry?

Fat hope if he expects this type of pay. If he has no working experience, he should be glad if an SME towkay is offering the chance to be an intern.
