Mass importation of their "talents" :)

wow these pp are really "entitled" as well - and i thot only one particular type was "entitled".

India and China will saturate Asia with their fake talents if we are not careful

My family had a scary experience at KTPH. An elder was attended by a cardio consultant from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University who could not explain the medical condition clearly, wanting to keep the discussion super-short to avoid questions from our family member. In conclusion, there were two serious issues with him, he didn't care about patient (really don't care or trying to avoid questions) and he was not sure about what he was doing. Avoiding questions was the worst part.

My concerned cousin was the caretaker of our elder and appeared to know more about Cardiology than this doctor from India in the course of our interactions.

On my part, i checked that the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University BY ITSELF is a new medical institution, started 1987 in southern india and according to wikipedia "granting affiliation to new medical and paramedical colleges, government or self - financing; and awarding degrees" which hinted that there is a chance that the doctor is from an affiliated new medical colleges.

That was the last straw and we never went back to KTPH.

I was there, i can vouch that the doctor knows only skin-deep about his work.
it's ok ckmpd bro, we are the minority, just be on the alert and focus on protecting loved ones around you. People think we are crazy and bitter. Let the happy 70% have the suitably-qualified southern indian doctor. My family went to polyclinic and restart the whole process to get referral letter to SGH.

We had a burmese doctor at the General Medicine clinic, still not bad.

We are now relegated to accepting 'not bad'.
What a fucked up cuntry.....whatever happened to first world Swiss standards? In high prices only.

Every years, countless Singapore kids were sent to overseas medical schools in Ireland, UK, US, Aust and NZ at their own expense.

The boys are worst off, for some of them came back to complete their NS obligations while our local medical school grooms countless registrars and associate consultants from India, Philippines and Myanmar to be full pledged specialists in our hospitals.

Recently, a doctor told me that the "armskote man" in his medical unit is his university professor. you believe?

Here our Minstar preach that tos even born here still a not given right to be a true Sinkie.

sounds very dubious. been to the website as you said and it is a virtual university or degree mill. the webiste does not have photo of its campus or hospital where it trains its doctors. they says only affiliated ie bullshit. No proper academic staff. any medical school should have at least 300 senior medical doctors as teachers and all their CV published online. This MGR school is very suspect. I would suggest strongly you lodge a complain against MoH or medical council if what you said is true. anyway India medical system are full of fakes doctors. there are so many reliable news from CNN, BBC, economist, reuters etc on the high numbers of fake doctors in India. any doctor there is either incompetent or fake and here we are importing hundred. anyway MGR is MG ramachandran a famous indian actor. so maybe your doctor was actually trained as an actor. hhahhaha

even WHO report questions qualification of ‘doctors’ in India
