Four jailed over motorbike offences

FOUR deaf and mute Malaysians were jailed on Thursday stealing motorcycles in Singapore.
Muhamad Azizzat Adam, 23, who stole nine motorbikes in all, pleaded guilty to five counts of theft of motorcycles at Seah Im Road carpark and Bideford Road between last October and February this year.
He was sentenced to three years' jail and banned from driving for three years.
Muhammad Hafezan Azam Azhan, 21, was jailed for 15 months and banned from driving for 18 months after he pleaded guilty to one charge of stealing a $1,300 motorcycle with Azizzat on Jan 25.
A third accused, Mohd Zakirnorsahfiq Mustakin, 22, was jailed for 12 months and banned from driving for 18 months on one count of theft of a $2,800 motorcycle with Azizzat at Bideford Road last Nov 10.
The 20-year-old woman, Nurul Shazehan Sam, who dishonestly received the $2,800 stolen bike from Azizzat at Mount Elizabeth Hospital on Nov 11. Azizzat has pushed the bike there to hide as he couldn't hide it the previous day. He was given eight months' jail and 12 months' disqualification.
