Mohamad Noor Helmi, Ahmad Sholihin, Mohammad Zadi and Muhammad Syazwandi are suspected of assaulting 40-year-old See Chien Hwa, and may each face up to 10 years in jail if convicted.
SINGAPORE: Four men, aged between 15 and 22, was charged in Court on Saturday (Mar 7) for an offence of Voluntarily Causing Grievous Hurt under the Penal Code.
The four charged are Mohamad Noor Helmi, Ahmad Sholihin, Mohammad Zadi and Muhammad Syazwandi.
Police received a call for assistance at Block 201 Tampines Street 21 on Mar 6. Upon arrival, police said a 40-year-old man, See Chien Hwa, was involved in a dispute with the men and was assaulted by them. The four men were subsequently arrested on the same day.
If convicted, they may each be jailed for up to 10 years as well as be liable to a fine or caning.
