Singapore trails only China, India, Japan and Pakistan in Asia for the number of coronavirus infections. Around 10,000 healthy workers in essential services have been moved from dormitories into alternative housing, including military camps, converted sports halls and accommodation ships for offshore workers, authorities say. Rows of white huts are also being hurriedly assembled at the Tanjong Pagar shipping-container port. The facility could house up to 15,000 foreign workers, local media reported, but authorities have yet to decide how it will be used.

How come pspigs never go to dormitory to c the situation ,all hiding, as a people servant ,they should visit the site, think must be waiting for oayday every mth no time to go down.

Just visited Westlite Toh Guan Dormitory (outside) in afternoon, can hear a lot of shouting. There are some tensions and unhappiness. Police are also on the scene in S11 Dormitory at Punggol. It is very crowded, likely no social distancing.

The issue here is some of them can't get access to alcohol since yesterday. Imagine they can't buy alcohol for a month.
