Fitness - Has anyone tried WBV?

Chiu can try Osim uShape at their show room. Moi rather take moi bike out for a spin @ park connector...:D

Dun waste money...almost all slimming equipment I try already.

I've seen those shaking machines selling at Osim for $600 to $800. I doubt they are as effective because they are too limited in power.
The ones I am looking at are the really serious models e.g. Power Plate, Aibi models,.... which cost $4,000 & up. These machines have the power to go up to 50Hz. The Power Plate & german branded models are actually selling for $10,000 plus:eek:

It is probably financially cheaper to join a health club.

These machines remind me of those mini trampolines which are known to improve lymphatic health.
Using a WBV machine is not effortless. You have to do exercises e.g. push ups, crunches, squates, stretches, ... The difference is that you do these exercise on a vibrating platform which is suppose to accelerate the gains.

Nothing beats strength and cardio training.

Ron Sim has earned a fortune by selling snake oil to gullible fools.

Sure, I enjoy a good massage chair, but if you make 'fitness' devices and attach false claims to them, I have issues with that.
