On 30 July 2025 at about 5:50pm, SCDF responded to a fire at the above location.
Upon arrival, the living room and bedroom of a unit on the 13th floor was on fire. The fire was extinguished by firefighters with a water jet.
Three persons were assessed for smoke inhalation and conveyed to Woodlands Health.
Preliminary findings indicate that the fire had likely originated from the battery pack of a Power-Assisted Bicycle (PAB) in the living room.
The public is reminded not to leave batteries or devices charging for prolonged periods or unattended overnight. In addition, avoid purchasing or using non-original batteries.

Time to buy fire insurance.
Just a question.
When a neighbour house on fire due to whatever exploded and affected the neighbours flat to be burnt down beyond leepair, and the neighbour doesn't have fire insurance, can they get compensation from the flat that causes the fire or from PAP tc?
