US artists Justin Crowe and Aric Snee have created a selfie stick designed to enable lone travelers to shoot selfies that appear to have been taken by a traveling companion. The Selfie Arm is a false arm and hand with a smartphone bracket attached just beyond the elbow.

The idea is that selfie shooters hold the hand to support the camera, so that part of the clothed arm occupies the bottom of the frame created by the wide lenses that smartphones are usually fitted with. Thus, in the photograph they will appear to be on intimate terms with a fellow human being.

The Selfie Arm will be available as a limited edition of 10 pieces, each signed by the artists, at a price of $6200. For more information, and to order a Selfie Arm, visit Crowe's website.

such useful fingers.....both ends can be used too - comes in "handy" :p

can take selfies with the fingers...in the fanny! ha ha ha

always thought selfie also meant ownself do (diy)....hopefully not selfish, as it can be shared with other lonely female travellers
also gives a new meaning to "kee chiu" :D
