Police have arrested a 73-year-old man who damaged 16 taxis in the parking lot of Resorts World Sentosa (RWS).
The suspect had used various sharp objects to scratch the paintwork of taxis on multiple occasions. Repair costs for the vehicles are about $8,600.
Two taxi drivers first lodged a police report in early April 2011 that their vehicles parked in the basement parking lot of RWS had been scratched.
A check with RWS then revealed other similar but unreported incidents.
