Are you talking about Cuscadean walk?I am not familiar with these area.

The fact is most older folks and ah peks of our pioneer generation hardly use green houses.They grow what is natural to our soil and climate.My interest is what is medicinal that grows naturally in our soil condition.

Papaya grows naturally anywhere in Singapore.Besides papaya is easily avilable through out the year here.Hence no need state land.in my opinion anyone who grows both the papaya and banana are the lazy lot.It just grows without any care.

But do you know that boiling papaya leaf and drinking it's water is a cure dengue ?

There is no medication known are available for dengue fever.Doctors will only ward you and observe your platelets count. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dengue_fever

Papaya leaf seems to do something to your blood that increases your platelets.Google for more info.
