LKY has made it known that the PAP approach to Singapore is to Feed the stomach and dull the mind . The education system is done such that people are docile and just accept everything given to them and not ask questions. So, teacher and MSM have brainwashed most Singaporeans – They (PAP) have been so successful that they now identify Singaporeans as DAFT!!
With that knowledge, they know they have to look outside of Singapore (including to those Singaporeans who have left, to the point they have even set up an organization called Overseas Singaporeans Unit) to see if they could be enticed them to be back to work in Singapore. But then, those who have left has tasted the freedom (in business, social and other aspects) and won’t want to come back to the Little Red Dot where everything is stifled and any good ideas robbed by the you-know-who. If you don’t toe the line, you lose your business etc etc. They do not want to be beholden to the party….
Those really talented foreigners, frankly, they do not want to come to Singapore – it is not as attractive as they can just about pick any other place and do as well, no, mostly better than coming to Singapore. (Even in China, some cities like Guangzhou,Shanghai or even Tianjin is many times bigger than the country Singapore) where opportunities abound)So what can Singapore get? Lower level – class 3 or sometimes class 2 if they are lucky sub-standard foreigners whom they embraced as talent, just because they can speak better and boast higher!!
This is because the PAP leadership itself has no talent. It is run by an apprentice of 20 some years and who is also so insecure that he cannot afford anyone to outshine him. What is left is sycophants and lap-dogs. How far do you think he can take the country? Thankfully we have the old guards who have put in a solid infrastructure in place early on and we still enjoy it for some time – but the walls are crumbling.
PAP still live in colonial times…when did they start to have Facebook? And how have they fared on Facebook? Need a brigade of people to help them get likes and delete questions/post which they cannot handle. What childishness.
Please stop looking at them for our future. They are mercenaries who will sell us out. In fact, I think they already have – they are giving our PR and Citizenship to any Tom, Dick, Harry, Jane in exchange increasing their potential to get votes in elections. They have been so money minded that the whole country is not run on ideals, but on money – I think the mission of PAP has been changed from to build a fair and just society….. to what’s wrong with collecting more money?

So, let us not be daft anymore. We once followed a party which has the ideals we embraced, but that is no longer true. Let’s take back Singapore for ourselves and our children as a party that is only interested in money and not serving the country does not merit our trust anymore.
