Wow Taiwan Hokkiens so advanced, 1947 already got senator system. No wonder cannot stand the backward KMT. This famous Hokkien painter was a senator of Jiayi city and was one of the twelve representatives that went for the peace talks with KMT. And nine of them were arrested and executed.
Total 16 people executed publicly on that Jiayi bus stop including doctor, painter, senator, police, shoe shop boss, newspaper supervisor etc. The wife of the painter took a photo of him after being executed and this is one of the only two photo proof of the 16 people executed.
Poor Hokkien painter and other heroes were tied up by KMT and paraded from the police station to the train station stop and publicly executed with their dead bodies intentionally left there for hours to show the public. It was a heart wrenching sight with flies surrounding the bodies.
The Hokkien painter was elected Jiayi senator in 1946. Wow Taiwan was already so democratic in 1946 and KMT was the one that destroyed it. The painter was advised by others not to attend the peace talk but he was too helpful and insisted on going. As usual high class, first class and elite hokkiens are always harmed due to their inherent kindness.
However his father died when he was a child so this Hokkien painter had a hard life since young and only went to Japan to study painting when he was almost 30 years old.
Seriously anyone thinks Hakka doggies @JohnTan@musashi will be like this Hokkien painter insist on going for peace talk despite being advised otherwise?
