nah beh...mertesacker sounds like motherfucker ...wah ha ha...

Just few months away to go for the Euros, its all hope gone for England.. Got the feeling that some of the English players are quietly happy with this sudden resignation from Capello..:D This over rated English brats are just not used to authoritative managers like Capello.. But England will always be England.. You can appoint Mourinho as their National Coach and they will still flunk in major tournaments..

Agree. The English are not thinking players on the field. They play the only style they know and that is to pump long balls upfield and hope for the best. They can't read the game and can't adapt to the situations. So no matter who is in charge, it makes no difference. The Spaniards are the exact opposite. It's not just their skills are absolutely brilliant, but their players are thinking, plotting and scheming all the time. Just watch Xavi to appreciate this.

So Capello is really smart. He knew England will again come to nought. He pounced on this chance to get himself out. He get paid some more, so why not? And if England fails as it would certainly do, he can point the finger back at the FA for kicking him out. Smart move, this Italian, unlike the stupid English.

You just have to see for yourselves.. England squad. Those hit past 30 years of age may not feature in WC 2014 and definitely not Euro 2016. For Germany those 22-23 years old can play 2 more World Cups and Euro 2016 + 2020 but Germany DFB won't stretch them that far because Germany is a footballing nation and with their youth development programs, a new crop of talents will spring up. :D

After the catastrophe of Steve McClaren, I'm shocked that they are even considering another Englishman (Harry Redknapp) for the job.

Tottenham top 4 finish this season = big fuck?

England may not get past the group stage in Euro 2012.

If the English FA wants to play the nationalistic card, then of all English coaches, Harry Redknapp is indeed the best. But as I said earlier, even he won't be able to do much because the English players have all grown up playing only one style, either by huffing and puffing with the ball as fast as they can or simply kick the ball as far upfield as possible. They don't have any footballing intelligence or instincts at all.

My goodness! Is Portugal really short of talents? You can find 2 legends there. Deco and Nuno Gomes. If both happen to be injured at the same time then they may recall back 39 year old Rui Costa. :D
