高雄一位張同學向東森新聞投訴，他使用兩年的IPHONE手機竟然從螢幕爆開來，張同學說，原本是發現手機背面電池的部份有膨脹現象，他不敢再用，結果七天後卻發現IPHONE手機怎麼爆開了？讓他好害怕，萬一是在使用當下爆炸，不就會傷到人？但是他一下往蘋果門市一下又去手機經銷商問，都無法說明為什麼手機會這樣？
您沒看錯！IPHONE手機，螢幕面板爆了開來，翻面看機身背面，還膨脹起來，和正常未壞的同型號手機比一比就能看出明顯差別。投訴人張同學：「才用2年！竟然膨脹爆開」，使用者害怕。手機的主人張同學說：「前陣子發現白色機殼的部份怎麼凸凸的？判斷手機裡頭電池膨脹，張同學不敢再用，沒想到七天後，從家中抽屜拿出檢查，連螢幕也爆開來。」
才用兩年的手機，竟然自動爆開，萬一他不知道持續使用，難保不會受傷，張同學質疑是不是因為IPHONE的電池無法任意拆卸更換，才會造成手機內爆，而他詢問手機經銷商卻沒辦法讓他有個滿意回答。手機經銷商表示，IPHONE出現內爆的案例真的很少見，也由於原廠規定，手機損壞必須送回原廠檢測，因此電池為何會膨脹，經銷商也無從得知，不過不管結果如何，這次的手機內爆經驗，都讓張同學感到害怕，已經拒絕再買同品牌的手機了。
