Excess media coverage of Old Gecko's passing

Almost half the newspapers over the last 2 days were on her death and her lifetime "achievements". Switch on the tv and we see repeated coverage on her. Just like GKS when he kicked the bucket some months back. WTF? Old Gecko is only the wife of an ex-PM of Sinkieland. Is it justifiable to extend some much media coverage about her? I just used yesterday's Sunday Times with her silly lizard face on the front page to clean up the poo left behind by my dog!

Quite right . Just one page for one day would be enough. If the family want quite funeral.
More news also mean more loophole for bad news.
Lay low and those really show respect will come so do the enemy they are the one who will come from every corner of the earth if they can make it.

This is called feeding Singaporeans with news PAP want to hear. 1 day treatment not enough, Singaporeans need subsquent doses so that when come election, those "medication" prescribed by PAP works on the brain and hands to cast the vote to them.

I have not been reading newspaper and watching TV for the past couple of days. I find it very unproductive and unncessary to keep repeating someone who has passed on. I am even more worried for the youngers and school childrens, they are too young for such heavy "medication" and the side-effect is they may ended up joining YPAP and lead a dog's life.
