Dear Hougang and Potong Pasir Oppo leaders,

Wishing you well !
Told you before that disadvantages can turn into your advantages !
Papers can do the dirty but you can turn them into good points, need not get agitated !
Reports say Hougang and Potong pasir not so clean right !

We know this is a childish game to play to win votes ! But still many voters don’t look beyond that !
So you have to educate the people in your estates about cleanliness !

Please tell the voters that whether the reports are independent is doubtful becos if you link estate cleanliness to voting, then it is best we have oppo members inside this committee who can check and write reports in unison ! Ask the voters whether this is a fairer way to do contest ?

Janitors have schedules to sweep floors and hi-jet flooring, and they have timing to clear refuse chambers at the blocks !
Time for checking cleanliness plays a crucial part of the competition if there is any .
Cleaners can sweep in the morning but in the afternoon, the void-decks are dirty again becos of littering !
Inside the lifts ,spitting can occur after the clean !

Many factors can affect cleanliness of the estates at any time of the day !
Cleaners cannot just stand there and wait for you to throw rubbish right !

Tell the voters, cleanliness of the estates not only rely on town councils’ cleaners , cleanliness is everybody business to keep sinkapore clean and tidy !

You see, sinkaporeans have a bad habit that if they throw litter out of the windows, somebody from India or china will sweep for them ----do we want this kind of attitude in sinkapore ! For so many years, most people think that way ! our young people are thinking the same too !

Tell the voters, in sinkapore, if Ft workers don’t sweep sinkapore for just one day---sinkapore will stink the whole asia , look around your block every morning before the cleaners start working !

Give example ----let say Australia, Brisbane in Queensland, the estates are clean and the streets are clean, hardly you find dustbins along the road side ---why ? There is no signs warning you not to litter or you get fine !

The answer is simple---the people believe in themselves that they can keep the place clean with least conservancy fees ! They make it…..and becomes their culture ! This is a clean-success story !

In sinkapore, even cleanliness is used to win votes, ask the voters, where are we heading ? Do we want to have a success story in cleanliness one day or we want to see how well the Ft workers sweep our floors ?

Tell the voters, we oppo parties with limited resources have also tried our best to keep our estates clean, but we still never give up hope that sinkaporeans cannot be like the people living in Brisbane, we too can be like them !
Cleanliness is everybody business !

God bless.

May the force be with you !

That's a good one !

Gold coast near Brisbane is also very clean !

Reports are childish ...hahahahaha...true !

First kind in the universe ! first world singapore some more !

It's really strange of the news to link this to "PAP ward" and "Opposition ward".

The root of the problem lies with the people. The people litter. That's a fact. The assumption with the report is that people in every ward dirty their neighbourhoods the same way, or that they throw the same amount of litter in every ward.

This is not very... correct.
