Elderly woman, 70, gets hit by car while cycling across Jurong West road
Investigations are ongoing.

A 70-year-old woman was taken to hospital after she was hit by a car while cycling across a road in Jurong West on the night of May 16.
According to Shin Min Daily News, the woman was riding her bicycle across a pedestrian crossing when she was struck by a car.
The accident happened at around 8:50pm at a junction along Jurong West Central 3, near Jurong Point.
Videos provided by members of the public showed the woman lying on a grass verge by the roadside with visible head injuries.
Her bicycle could be seen overturned nearby.
She was reportedly conscious after the accident and was still able to move her limbs.
Paramedics at the scene were heard checking whether she had any numbness in her arms or legs.

The woman reportedly said that her hand hurt.
Cycles regularly
Photos of the scene showed an ambulance and a car believed to be involved in the accident parked by the roadside.
A resident told Shin Min that the woman appeared to be a resident from the area who cycles out regularly.
The Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) confirmed that they were alerted to the accident.
Police said the incident involved a car and a bicycle.
The 70-year-old cyclist was taken conscious to the hospital.
Investigations are ongoing.
