Many silly peasants think old Ee's spawn is a saint who will carry on the good works of his papa.

In reality, the son is merely living off his papa fortunes and certainly knows how to enjoy life without giving the regime any problems regarding matters of conscience. Young Ee knows life is short and there is no profit to offend politicans by poking fun at their alibaba antics.

Hence Young Autocrat knows Ee, the expert at the Chinese Kowtow will be a good puppet for his latest tricks.

The regime came under heavy fire for the generous stipends given to minions while old peasants had to beg for food after their savings run out. The matter was getting ridiculous when young peasants balked the idea that rich minions are actually serving the nation. Hence Young Autocrat came up with a cheap trick to appoint neutrals to audit minions pay.

The contradiction starts, Young Autocrat gets to choose the people auditing the over generous stipends of his minions.

A similar analogy is to ask the thief to appoint his pal as the Chief Justice. Incidentally, this was the same trick used by Old Autocrat Lee who appointed his pals e.g. Wee/Yung as Chief Justice, no prizes for guessing 99% of the trials involving the regime ended in overwhelming strategic victories for the regime.

Young Ee who is the exponent at the Chinese Kowtow assures peasants his Ee brand name will give peasants a fair accountability for the silly stipends given to minions. Many moons have passed and not a single pork belly curry is served.

Wiser peasants know it is a matter of time before Young Ee does the Chinese Kowtow and conceded high stipends are necessary for the Imperial Family and merchants (local/foreign) to prosper.

Papa EE no saint at all. He was making a good living off charity work.

I recall the times when I was struggling to make a living, my colleagues will be brandishing their kid's donation envelops and pass it around to all. I too had mine to help my kid get donations from friends and relatives. The target that each student should get was 20 signatures. After the Durai affair, I felt so pissed about giving to charity. All who donated now must have felt the same.

Yeah Bro.. Your post reminded me back then during my schooldays in the 80s..
The teacher would give you this shabby envelope made of vanguard paper and you must seek cash donations and signatures from donors.. They really make use of the students back then.. Damn the bastard who initiated that donation drive!

Let me tell you guys something.

I was with the my family about 2 years ago near Waterloo St. Temple and it was close to the Lunar New Year. There were huge tents with many vendors and we were looking at all the offerings of the vendors there. There was a legless man sitting near the temple with a collection basket and people were giving me money.

Having seldom seen a beggar, I was inclined not to give as I knew they were under the care of our charity organisations and beggars were always round up as the authorities frown on such activities. But my kid felt sympathy and insisted in giving and wife was saying we should give. I had no desire but since they wanted to give I dug my pockets for coins. I had only some small change and no $1 coins so I have my kid a 50 cents coin.

That beggar was upset and threw the coin back at my kid. I pick it up and got the family away, but I was damn mad. This beggar deserve to lose his legs as far as I was concerned.
