I visited a dentist that day at jurong area.

I informed them i have CHAS but i guess the receptionist couldn't hear properly so she didnt take note i have CHAS card.

Upon payment i realized its cheaper by $10-$20 compared to my previous visits. And i took my CHAS card out then she replied why i nv inform earlier? Then she stunned abit and walked in and spoke to the dentist about 1mins+ then walk out and accept my CHAS.
My question is, why she so panicked when i took out my CHAS card? I suspect that with CHAS they can charge more as govt subsidies heavily for dental checkup. (I assumed as the way she acted is very suspicious).

The dentist pricing varies and no fix. Its hard for govt to check on them

What do you think?

Even if you didn't inform the cashier that you have CHAS and had used it during your previous visit, they will still have a record of it and charge you according to the CHAS subsidy rate.

I think you should see a dentist at the National University Centre For Oral Health Singapore (NUCOHS) or at a polyclinic in future.
