how about 2mrw portfolio :

RACE 1
Not a strong field to start off the night. Lucky Sorcerer (2) has finished in the placings at two of his last five starts and after the claim for Erasmus Aslam should make his presence felt. Mr Prosperity Kat (6) was placed in this grade two starts back before a couple of moderate performances in Class 5 company. Expect a better run here while Faithful Lad (1) run a shocker last time, but his previous run was solid in tougher company and after the claim he looks well suited. Unbeatable (8) might be the best of the rest as he hasn’t been too far away in recent assignments.

RACE 2
A tricky affair. First starter Bee Ahead (4) has shown promise at the trials to date and the Michael Clements stable knows how to get them ready for their first starts. Whooshka (1) is a get back type who is dropping in distance this time around. He has the race experience and should run well while Rocket Express (3) has shown promise and will be much better suited back up to this trip. Special Soldier (6) is another first starter who has trialled fairly and is one to keep a close watch on at debut.

RACE 3
Despite still being a maiden Abyss (3) should give this a shake. His last three efforts in this grade have been solid and he’ll be up on the speed. Solid Impact (10) has been racing well of late and on the minimum here should make a bold bid while Lucky Sun (8) hit the line well last time and should be included in the hopes. Magician (1) is back in Class 5 grade this time around and should make a bold bid after the claim for Koh Teck Huat.

RACE 4

Race experience may be the key with A Certain Smile (3). He is lining-up for his seventh start having been place at his past two outings. He’s drawn the middle of the line-up here and should run well. Higgs Boson (1) has shown promise and freshened for this should be hitting the line strongly while Whirlrunner (10) was in the market on debut and ran a fair race and should be improved by the experience. Brilliant Ruler (6) has shown pace at both his runs to date and should be even further improved this time around.

RACE 5

A small field but a very competitive race. Happiness Come (5) put the writing on the wall last week with a strong finishing fourth. The small field here suits, he drops in weight and the rise in distance is also a plus. Gust (1) led them up and toughed the race out well last time. He’ll be in this for a long way while Anak Lutong (4) was strong in winning last time and should handle the extra ground. Jamal Malik (3) won two on end before a sound effort last time and looks one of the hopes.

RACE 6

Not the strongest of line-ups and it looks an open race. Dare To Win (5) doesn’t have a great strike-rate but he put the writing on the wall with a solid effort last time. Zambezi Rush (1) is a last start winner but rises sharply in weight here however he demands attention while Drama Superstar (7) hit the line well last time and will appreciate the extra ground. By Appointment (4) was successful in this class five runs back and his last run was sound for this type of race.

RACE 7

Some handy types do battle here. Luckyatsuccess (1) has been racing in good form, winning two of his last four starts. Expect a forward showing despite the weight. Velocity (2) was good in sitting handy to the pace last time in a solid win and has claims again while Brian (12) is not long out of maiden grade but his form reads well and with no weight on his back must be respected. Magic Moxie (3) is coming off a freshen but loves the Polytrack surface and is sure to make a bold bid.

RACE 8

Not an easy race. Kylene (4) showed a lot of fight to win at his first run after a short break and although up in weight should make a bold bid again. Recycle Triumph (3) sat on the speed before scoring impressively almost two weeks ago and must be respected while Redpacketday (8) is rarely too far from the money and deserves thought here. Apache Junction (5) got a long way back last time before making up good ground and is sure to be running on at the business end again.

RACE 9

A nice weight drop should see Utrillo (10) being hard to beat. He ran a pleasing third at his last start carrying 58.5kg and drops to 52kg here in this slightly tougher affair. Expect a forward showing. Daad’s The Way (4) was noticed getting to the line well at his last start and the extra 100m here will be ideal while Superczar (3) returned to form with a solid win last time and should again be prominent again. Long Haul (5) has been a consistent performer of late and getting onto the Polytrack shouldn’t pose any problems.

RACE 10

A drop back to the 1000m trip should see Uno (10) being tough to hold out. He was successful over the trip three runs back and his subsequent efforts have been sound. Lucky Wish (1) is a class dropper who has found Class 3 grade too tough of late. His run when narrowly touched out three runs back shapes as good form for this while Innocent Star (12) strolled home to an easy win last time and back in distance here with a big weight drop should see him run well. Shinkansen (6) can be tough to follow but on his narrow defeat two starts back is worth another chance from the good draw.
