Most of the Eagles songs come from a time in the 70s-80s when life was simple. I remember going to pubs listening to Hotel california rip-offs from bands such as Tania in Tanglin, having drinks with buddies on saturday nites.

Pebbles Bar ? Tania .....dont hear much of them these days. Many of the entertainment places have 'retired ' the older guys in favour of the newer groups from usually Pinoyland.

Older performers like Mervyn Nonis and Joe Chandran ( former Experiments ) have permanently given up. Dudley and Leonard now at Chevy's at katong....all disbanded and dispersed.

perhaps so bro....they banned ganja but they banned long hair too....or at least penalised it very heavily. They were very heavy handed and ya ...it could have had an adverse effect on creativity and expression of flair.
