When i was in SISPEC, the silver bayonets always won by NSF... regulars talk only..

regulars protect themselves.
When I was in Air Force, a regular CPT officer in control tower always get A for his assessment, always No.1 or No.2 in his annual grading.

When he decided not to renew his contract, his LTC gave him the second-lowest (grade) in the cohort. His LTC told him to leave the good grades for the (useless) regulars who stayed on. He lost a huge chunk of his bonus in that year and ended his regular career in shame for getting such a low-grade.

He did quite well and at least, fairly rewarded for his hardwork

There are also tons of others who failed and ended up driving taxis. Most importantly, to study hard and be a multimillionaire minister so life won't be hard. Long Live PAP

At the end of the day it’s a job and a relatively stable one. No fear of retrenchment. Though the retirement age is short you gotta have financial planning. God help u if you cannot manage your finances.

Talking about the SAF,,,,if the officer or NCO is good,,,,like very tok kong soldier,,,can fight and kill etc,,,how come after training etc, they dont go sign up with those ang mor mercenary companies? good pay and good benefits but risky,,,but go army is to fight and risk life,,,,not be comfortable,,but maybe SAF members are not cut out to be mercenaries,,,no substance,,so I doubt the SAF can win a war, its just a rice bowl for the scholars
