Sinkie is a hokkien and mandarin speaking country. K hell is a cantonese speaking. Even got cantonese radio. But straNgely, no hokkien radio as hokkien can speak cantonese but prefer mandarin.

Mudd has nothing better to do than to meddle with Chinese dialects?

I never saw him so proactively pushing his previous movies on an Asian world tour. Must be a contractual obligation.

KL is more like 60-40 Cantonese vs Hakka. It just happens that the Hakkas are usually fluent in Cantonese but Cantonese are not typically fluent in Hakka, that's what ingesting pop culture from Hong Kong does.

If you go further north to the ulu parts of Selangor or Perak, it's a 50-50 ratio.

Uncouth Hokkiens are the majority in Sinkieland, JB/Johor, Melaka(?), Penang and cities of Sumatra like Medan. Both sides of the Straits of Malacca, and/or former Brit colonial settlements. :sneaky:
