How come Vesak Day in Singapore and Malaysia fall on different days? Isn't it the same Buddha Buddhists in both countries honour? Kinda confusing.

Cheers!

some buddhists can eat meat while others can't

some buddhists can have girlfriends while others can't

very inconsistent buddhism! its like you can make your own religion!

why do you need to pray to buddha when you are your own god?

lanjiao lah, then your yeh soh got how many types?

Some Christians I spoke to are aware that Dec 25 isn't the day that Jesus (if he even existed) was born. It is just that their church acknowledges the birth of their saviour on that day. The Eastern Orthodox's Chruch has Christmas Day roughly two weeks later. If the story of Jesus is true, it is more likely that he was born in the warmer months of the year (eg. June ~ August). Yes, religion is man-made.

Cheers!

Religion is a personal thing. One has the choice to believe whatever one chooses, as long as s/he does not impose his/her beliefs on others.

Cheers!

Why not? If one is comfortable with a certain belief, it is his/her right to believe. However, it is not right or proper to force anyone else to that belief, as that person has a right to accept or reject those ideas or thoughts. Someone may see the Sai Baba as a wise man who can impart wisdom and knowledge to help that person, whereas another person might view the Baba as an idiot. It's personal.

Cheers!

why do you have such thoughts?

You are a open-minded Christian, lol. Anyway the bible also written by dozens of authors yet people believe that it's the word of God.

It's true but many don't practice that, that's why there's always people doing so call missionary work to convert others. organized religions are always trying to recuit new members just like Mlm company.

Actually it's how you market your religion, the more marketing you do the more members you get. Nowadays religions are running like a big biz
