the only difference without a president, the state saves million$. the PM should take over the obligatory post as the head of state. that should make the president a redundant post.

in USA, they only got a PRESIDENT and a vice-president who are both economically paid. our prataman is currently like drawing double salaries: 1 for his main course president job; another for the pension which this 80+ obessed mamak is entitled to. the total amount is estimated to be about $8M a yr. ($4M pay n pension on last drawn pay of another $4M).

one sg prataman is equal to at least 10 pairs of US president n his vp added up. and how big is sgp compare to USA? js a speck.

the money wasted by the state to upkeep such heavy duty figurehead, is it really worth it? for so many yrs, the state wasted away such good money which could have been better utilised to help the nation but it was just wasted away on just one cbl man.

what logic is this? with the million $ paid minitoots, how come no got the balls to voice this out and stop the wastage??
